Accessibility Statement

We work in the disability sector, so an inaccessible website would be a contradiction. This statement sets out the standard we hold this site to, what we have done, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us when something blocks you.

Our Standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at Level AA across this website, and we build client websites to the same standard by default rather than as a paid extra.

What We Have Implemented

  • Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate by structure
  • Full keyboard operability with visible gold focus indicators on every interactive element
  • Colour contrast checked against AA thresholds for body text, headings and buttons
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images marked as decorative
  • Form fields with persistent visible labels, clear error messages and errors announced to assistive technology
  • Touch targets sized for comfortable use on mobile
  • Reduced motion honoured, so animations soften when your device requests it
  • Text that reflows and remains readable at 200 percent zoom

Known Limitations

We would rather name these than imply perfection.

  • Our third party chat assistant and booking calendar are embedded tools we do not fully control; if either creates a barrier, use the phone number or email instead and we will help you directly
  • Some background video is decorative and paused for reduced motion users, but may still be visually busy on very small screens
  • Older documents supplied by clients and republished may not yet be fully tagged as accessible PDFs

Getting Help Another Way

If any part of this site prevents you from reaching us, contact us directly and we will provide the same information in another format, including large print, plain text or over the phone. Call +61 480 893 754 or email support@purposefulpartnersconsulting.com.au. Our office is at Level 1/44 Watton St, Werribee VIC 3030.

Reporting A Barrier

Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you were using. We acknowledge reports within two business days and aim to resolve confirmed barriers within 20 business days, prioritising anything that blocks contact or enquiry.

Ongoing Review

We review accessibility whenever we ship significant changes and at least annually, using a combination of automated checks, keyboard only testing and screen reader testing. Feedback from people who use assistive technology carries more weight than any automated score.
